Initial Floral Wreath

I made this initial floral wreath for my front door. My husband was tired of my old floral arrangement. Found something similar on pinterest and made it my own.

Blue Punch

Okay so I had a blue themed party and needed blue punch. I took blue Hawaiian Punch, Sprite, and lime frozen virgin margarita mix. Threw it together and got some good blue punch.

Blue Floral Arrangement

Blue flowers are hard to find in nature let alone a floral shop. I went to Dillons and asked them to spray some white flowers blue for me. I picked a baby blue color and a dark blue. I also picked up some white filler flowers and white snap dragons to add height.

First I placed flowers at different levels. Next I filled in flowers through out the vase. Finally I added the snap dragons in the back to help add more height and dimension.

Lastly I added a bow. As always I like to work with wire rimmed ribbon. I picked a dark blue ribbon and a light blue sheer ribbon. Next I added them together and made my bow.
Now I had some flowers left over. It is best not to force flowers to fit into your vase. I simply created another small floral arrangement which worked out great.

Blue Retirement Party

Hosted a retirement party for my mom. Her favorite color is blue so that was the theme for the shower.
I just simply used a white table cloth with two different shades of blue for the runners. A beautiful blue flower arrangement added some more blue and decoration. The dishes were blue and white as well.

Her grandkids colored blue pictures and placed blue flowers on their pictures. I used these to border pictures of her at work through the years. Each picture I bordered with scrapbook paper, all blue in theme.
Lastly I took a blue picture frame and left a silver wood marker for her co-workers to write a special message for her. This is something she will always have to remember. A nice little keepsake.
