Next I just cut the plastic and rubber band throwing the plastic and rubber band away.
Next I remove the flowers that are broken or have mold on them. When I say broken I mean the flower broken at the steam.
Now when you are ready to cut, cut one flower at a time. Pull off petals that are falling and pull of leaves from steam because they can make it to bunched up and to full with the leaves on the steam.
When cutting your flowers cut them at an angle under cold running water. The angle allows the steam to get as much water as possible. Cutting it under running water allows the steam to get fresh water right away. I also fill my vase with cold water. Warm water allows the flowers to open up to quickly.
I start with one flower and build on that. Once all the flowers are arranged in the vase than I add the filler one at a time. Once finished I than add a pretty flower. I always use wire ribbon. That way I can mold the bow. Lastly cut the strands at an angle. Finished!!
